Partner With Us to Support a Powerful Educational Experience

On Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 9:00 to 12:00 noon, K-6 and Special Education students will have exciting hands-on learning opportunities at the First Annual Lake County Ag & Natural Resources Day to be held at the Lake County Fairgrounds. This powerful educational experience has garnered great interest and excitement!

Created through the efforts of Lake County Fair Foundation, Lake County Farm Bureau and UC ANR 4-H, the purpose of this event is to educate K- 6th grade students on all things agriculture and natural resources. Students will have an opportunity to take a closer look at educational booths, displays and hands-on activities, giving them the foundation to begin the educational journey to understand more about the source of their food and fiber and local natural resources.

Over 900 students are expected at this first annual event sponsored through generous donations from these businesses and individuals: Dunken Pumps, Lake County Fair Foundation, Lake County Farm Bureau, PG&E, Umpqua Bank, Clearlake Rodeo Association, California Women for Agriculture, Yokayo Wine Company, UPS Store 5161 and Donald & Betty Fiora.
